Donkey rides all year round

The donkeys of Paros are part of the tradition, history and daily life of the island. They have contributed to transportation, trade and communication between people. It is an animal known for its patience and determination. You can move around with a donkey safely, because of its particular patience and endurance.

We can find their contribution in the agricultural economy, tourism and their therapeutic properties (donkey milk). They lack the ability to speak, but not perception and intelligence. It is no coincidence that donkeys have found their place alongside humans as companions, also during wars, as a symbol of humility and that since the birth of Jesus, even in the book “Fokika” by Pausanias, we find the donkey in drawings by Polygnotos which represent the events of the Trojan War.

A ride with a donkey can be very interesting and an unforgettable experience. Paros has many trails on which a donkey could take you. The local guide ensures the safe transport of passengers and takes care of feeding the animals as well as necessary medical care and accommodation during the winter! Our mission is to preserve and transmit our island tradition with all our visitors.

Terms and conditions :

• In case of abuse or disrespect of the animal, the act is prosecuted
• In case of postponed  excursion, due to vendors  responsibility, we will inform you in due time and the agency will reimburse the excursion without any other obligation.
• Participants can receive 100% of the amount in case of cancellation up to 24 hours prior excursion .
• During last 24 hours  no refund permitted  or in  case of non show.
• Participants are prohibited from transporting explosives or any other flammable & dangerous goods.
• The agency cannot be held liable in the event of body injuries or death of the customer, except in the event of the local guide’s negligence.
